Click anywhere in a paragraph you want to align, or select multiple paragraphs. You can also select the text and use the standard Font, Paragraph and Styles tools on the Home tab to format your text, just as if it were a normal part of the document. The text in your paragraphs is aligned to the left margin by default, but you can easily align it to the right margin, center it between the margins, or justify it to spread evenly between the margins on a page. Once you’ve added whatever you want to write, the “Format” tab has tools you can use to give your text a little pop with things like text styles and shading. This places an insertion point in the shape where you can type your text. This is an example of text that is aligned to the left. If you have made the style a Quick Style, then you can right-click it in the Quick Styles gallery and update it the same way. You can also right-click the style name in the Styles pane and choose the same option.
